MEETING SUE BERGER, GAP AUTHOR

Last Monday, I had the awesome opportunity to meet GAP author, Sue Berger. Sue is a kind soul who went out of her way to pick me up from my daughter’s apartment in North Hollywood. She took me to the Hollywood  Highland shopping mall and entertainment complex, and later to an improv show. We walked downtown Hollywood . It was very busy because of the festivities with the opening day of the movie Planes. I really got a genuine feel of what it is like to walk down Hollywood Boulevard. We took pictures in front of the Dolby Theatre (formerly known as the Kodak Theatre) The Academy Awards are held at this theatre.

I plan on inviting Sue over for a Haitian meal , the next time I am in LA visiting my daughter.  Thanks Sue, for taking me on a great tour and the improv show.  So very happy to be a part of the GAP family of authors!

Very busy street, people watching the stars walk  down the red carpet.  Too bad I was unable to see anyone!

  4. Penelope, sounds like a great plan! Maybe, you can come down when I come back to LA. I would love to meet up with you too. I did visit San Fran twice, when my oldest son lived there. Of course, my daughter came close to attending Santa Clara University which is down the street from. Small world. Thanks for stopping by.

  5. It was a joy to meet you, Nicole. I woke up Tuesday morning with an idea for a non fiction picture book and the research consumed my week. Can't wait for you to come back so I can get that meal and meet your beautiful daughter,

  7. Sue is a great person and a friend . I have had a lot of fun with her . She came to the GAP gathering in Oregon which was held at my home, and she was also at the one in Saint Louis so I got to see her there too. When Marilee and I were doing a book singing in Santa Maria she made the trip just to say HI :)All I can say is she is a lot of
fun. It sounds like you two had a great time. KC:)
