Inspire Me Monday Blog Hop

Since coming across Create with Joy website, I have been hugely blessed each and every week.  I can't quite explain it, all I know is I so look forward to participating each week .  Reading the  different posts and blogs bring a serenity to my soul like none other.  I truly believe  all the participating bloggers that are part of this website are Godly inspired.  Thank you to all for bringing peace and joy to my overly stressed life.  I teach high school French and Spanish and much to my dismay I have 39 students in one class period.  I think I earn my salary by teaching that one class each day.  It is a very difficult situation, but with God's help I will survive.

Thank you dear friends  I am closing with a poem I wrote a while back but I think it represents my true sentiment  of what I think of  Create With Joy.

THERE IS A PLACE...
There is a place I know of that will make you forget all of your woes , come, I invite you , grab your things let’s stroll leisurely along the seashore where you can forgo of all your worries
There is a place I know of that will make your dreams come true ,all you have to do is wish away
There is a place I know of that will turn any heavy burdened heart into a carefree   one, won’t you please join me just for a moment?
There is a place I know of that will embrace you with open arms and will nourish your soul with  much needed love and tenderness
There is a place I know of that will force you to remember
that you are very special and unique and the world would not be the same without you in it
There is a place I know of that will help you see how much you are needed, for my life is now complete because you are here with me where we can learn and grow together
THERE IS A PLACE…

FRIENDSHIP FRIDAY

I am extremely blessed with my youngest son Luc.  He made the honor roll this semester. I am inspired to continue to love him unconditionally and to do what I am supposed to do as a parent.   I do not always like getting on his case about doing well in school, but I am thankful he is finally making wise decisions .    Here is a poem I wrote, hope you too will be inspired to love your child with the love of God and help him/her to be the best he/she can be.  Have a great week!

A mother's desire for her children.

Son, daughter I shall be to you
what the marrow is to your bones
I will nourish you with my love
for I wish you length of life.

son ,daughter till you are
twenty and one I will pray
to God that day by day your
steps may he guide.

son, daughter may in my absence
wisdom becomes your best friend
for common sense will keep
you out of harm's way

Son, daughter though sometimes
you will heed the advice of fools
I know you will indeed find ways to succeed

Son, daughter never, ever give up
for wherever life's journey
takes you, I will remain by your side
forever and ever

INSPIRE ME MONDAY BLOG HOP

This week I am hugely inspired by God's eternal mercy upon my life.  I have a wonderful husband, three wonderful children and a great job.   I am inspired to keep God first always, because if it were not for him I would not  be here.  Thank you Lord for your mercy and grace.  I  was born in country where the majority of the people believe in vodoo. I am hugely blessed God called me out and spared my life .  I pray daily for my fellow  Haitians who do not worship the true God.   Here's a poem  I wrote to honor my one true God:

THE FOUNTAIN OF LIFE
Today, Lord and Savior I come to drink from your fountain
my heart and soul are parched and all dried up
thank you Lord for letting me drink until I am full
no other drink will do, for I know with you I shall
thirst no more, how blessed I am that you have
granted me my wish
Oh! Dearest savior I do have one more request
I ask for you to keep close to your heart and thoughts
those who have not yet tasted of your divine water of life
I ask that they too can one day have the same desire to
come savor your fountain of life
for them , my Lord and Savior I pray
AMEN, AMEN, AMEN

FRIENDSHIP FRIDAY

Last Monday I came across a wonderful blog, today I joined the Friendship Friday blog hop.  The question of the week:  How did you come up with your blog's name?  I named my three blogs so bloggers would know what the blogs are about.  I am an author of four published books, it makes sense for me to use the name of each book as the title of the blogs.   Here are the names of my three blogs:  My Sister Is My Best Friend, Marie and Her Friend the Sea Turtle and  Remembering Nine Eleven.  Join me in making new friends!

INSPIRE ME MONDAY BLOG HOP

I just came across this wonderful blog hop.  I love the theme of inspire me.  Today, I am inspired by the fact that my book:  My Birthday Is September Eleven and Other Short Stories  is still on  Amazon's best-selling list. My goal is to help inspire teens and their parents about not letting tragedy define who they become.  Life is too short to let tragedy define you for the rest of your life.  I am hugely inspired  to write more books that will help give hope. I believe this is my calling in life and I am very thankful.

Children’s Ezine Guardian Angel Kids: Siblings – January 2012 Issue

The beginning of a new year usually brings a time of reflection on the year gone by and hopes of the new year filled with health, happiness, and success. As I get older, I conduct a mental housecleaning of simplifying my life and taking a concerted effort to enjoy the moment of the current day, instead of worrying about the "what if's", because often times the "what's if's" don't even come into play. It takes time to break the "what if" habit, try it today and focus in on your tasks of the day instead of obsessing about tomorrow. I know for myself I find myself not as drained if I focus on the here and now, instead of what I think the coming days, weeks, and months should be.
Our January 2012 theme for the month is all about siblings. Come along and reminisce about your childhood through the delightful poetry and stories in this month's issue and don't forget to share your memories with your children.
